Beef Short Ribs are a versatile cut and our ribs are delightfully tender when slow-cooked. Beef Short Ribs are also known as Jacobs Ladder, they take patience to cook but your efforts will be rewarded with a melt-in-the mouth flavour. They are becoming popular to BBQ or cook in a smoker. Slow cook them until the meat falls off the bone.

    SUPPLIED FRESH

    SUITABLE FOR HOME FREEZING

    Freeze on day of purchase – Store between -18°C to -25ºC.

    Freezer shelf life is 4 months from purchase.

    Defrost in refrigerator for 8-12 hours before cooking.

    Once defrosted store between 0 – 5°C. Use within 24 hours.

    Do NOT re-freeze once defrosted.

     

    Cooking

    From chilled:

    Remove the ribs from its packaging, seal in a hot pan with a splash of oil, cover with beef stock or water then simmer for 2-4 hours for a melt in the mouth beef rib that will fall from the bone.
